The power in my neighborhood (college hill area) went out this morning around 3am several times - the longest of which was for about 5-10 minutes. At first i thought it was just our house (the same thing happened a couple of times mid-day last weekend, which i'd assumed was due to funky wiring in our house), but I saw last night that the street lights were out too. Anyone know the story behind it? |

I lost power as well on Elmwood Avenue by Boyden, about the same times as noted by others... When I went out this morning, I found heavy, burnt wire cuttings and broken branches lying in the curb and on the side walk... Looks like PSE&G was at work on the pole! This is getting to be a bad habit in town! Didn't we have this problem last year as well? |
