I'm new to the area and found a new ob/gyn. I'm also new to impending motherhood. Too much "new" for me. My new ob/gyn gave me 4 different sample packs of pre-natal vitamins and she told me to try out each one since each could have different side effects. Side effects? Any women out there suggest a prenatal that has minimal side effects? Thanks! |

I had really good luck with prenate gel tabs. Also, try taking your vitamins in the evening right before you go to bed... Good luck!! |

Four choices is three too many, if you ask me!!! Why not just give you the one she prescribes most often and let you switch if you have problems with it? I think I took NataFort (or something like that) both times, and frankly I've never known anyone to have what you'd really call "side effects" with them. The worst is that, like any vitamin, they can be a bit hard on the stomach. I took mine before bed and never had a problem. Good luck settling in. |

I couldn't tolerate any of them. I ended up taking only the folic acid and eating extremely well. |
