Anybody have a recommendation for a place to get a nice gift basket locally? Not ridiculously expensive, but not too cheapy either. Thanks!

Trader Joe's in Florham Park sells gift basket kits, or at least did during the holidays. Buy a basket, buy a kit with cellophane, paper fluff, bow, etc, and buy lots of goodies to put in it (all available at Trader Joes). My three-year-old and I did this and put together a nice gift basket for our nanny at a very reasonable price (and believe me I am not an artsy person!)

I'm pretty sure that there's a store that only does gift baskets in Livingston. Its in the same strip mall Walgreen's is in.

I think that Joyce, the woman who sells coffee every morning in Maplewood Train Station, was trying to start a gift basket business a few months back. Maybe you can stop by to see her one morning to find out more.

We go to Whole Foods. They obviously have great food and after the selections are made the folks at the front desk assemble it into a lovely basket.

If you need something less expensive, try Costco. They usually have a seasonal assortment.
