Anyone know where I can go to buy party invitations, preferably someplace where they will print them up for me while I wait, or with a very short lead time? The party is only 3 weeks away, my handwriting is too atrocious for the old fashioned fill-in-the-blank invites, and my home printer is broken so I can't just print them out myself.

Thanks in advance,

I think this is one of the type of things that NetNomads in Maplewood Village does.

I would think any Kinko's or similar type of place would be able to do them on the spot for a pretty reasonable price.

What about that invitations store on Baker. I am sure they could help you out on a really-rush order.

Invitations printed on a desk jet or laser printer look like just that.

If you want something fancier, einvite.com does an amazing, high end printing job. You can get the invites in a few days, too.

Thanks, everyone, for all your good suggestions. I ended up running to the invitation/stationery store on Baker (don't remember the name, alas) on Saturday afternoon, and what a find! Convenient location, great selection of products, the proprietor was very helpful, and they were able to print up my invitations in less than an hour for $1 per card, plus the cost of the invitations themselves. Money well spent, as far as I'm concerned . . .

Thanks again,
- Amandacat

The stationery store on Baker St is called Truly Yours. It is a great place for invites and other things like a gift for a graduate. They have done all the big events in our daughter's life from birth announcement,Bat Mitzvah invites to her wedding two years ago..Highly recommend...
