Looking for a recommendation for a child psychologist who focuses on children and adolescents (versus families). Any experienced parents out there?

Thanks.

It has been my experience that each psychologist tends to have different styles in dealing with individual personalities. You definitely should interview before you send your child. My recent experience with Neil Litinger was a positive one (973-762-9333). He works with a lot of teens and helped me with one of mine. In this instance, I needed someone on the 'tougher' side. I also have had experience with Paul Hutchins (Maplewood Avenue in Maplewood) who I adore. Paul is wonderful with all ages. His style is much softer. So it all depends on what your child's needs are. I have heard good things about Drs. Hagovsky and Gerson at 22 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston also. Good luck.
