Anyone know of a place around here where you can rent those protable DVD players with the litte screens? But with the price of these units so low now (last week under $300 at Best Buy) -- a rental of more than just a few days might not be economical. Do you have a laptop that you can put a DVD or DVD/RW drive in? Might cost about the same, and would be useful for other things, too. Yes, I'm thinking about the same for the vacation drive in August! They rent players and dvds and will ship directly to your home. We rented one for a flight to SF and then used it in the car when we were there. What's wrong with just making your kids sit there and learn how to be bored?! Sing songs? Car games? Books on tape are a good option. But really, TV in your car? That's a cryin shame.
