Let me start off this thread by stating that the gaslamps on Jessica Way are excellent, and it makes that street well-lit. However, the lighting conditions on both adjoining Blanchard Road and Crest Circle are completely non-existent (i.e. no street lights on either block). During the day, obviously that's not a problem, but, however, at night with no lighting, it gives an eerie feel to the area. Are there any plans to improve, or install, gaslamps for those two above-mentioned streets? |

freddy: I will pass on your comments to the Public works committee to have them address the problem and see what can be done. |

freddy, I can't say from personal knowledge, but I have been told that a neighbor who shall remain nameless (I don't want to get sued) has fought tooth and nail against adding lights to Blanchard and Crest. As for Jessica, it's great to have the gaslamps, and even better to not have both the gaslamps and the electric light they put in four your ago. Talk about efficiency. Put in electric lights. Four years later, put in gaslamps. 3 months later, remove electric lights. I wonder what happens to those electric lights that were taken out? Freddy, maybe you can have them put in on Blanchard? How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?
