Joan: If you look at the "Home Fix -it" topic and scroll down to "Need to replace a roof" there are several suggested roofers.

Scott's Roofing did a full rip-off here. We also had all the fascia replaced before installing new Leaf Filter gutters. Darren Sager, the owner of the local Leaf Filter franchise did a superb job. He actually recommends Glen's Roofing. You might check with them also.

Scott's did a very good large job for us once too. Then we called them a couple of other times and couldn't even get them to answer our calls. I guess they're hot shots.

Thanks, everyone.
I looked into Scotts and other competitors. I will need a complete tear off. Scotts is hot right now and they quoted the highest estimate.
Anyone heard of Allen Bernstein, MTA Roofing?

Scott's and Lowe's both have a good reputation locally.
