I've recently noticed that when I return to the New Messages search page, my username and password are still in those input fields. It is also in the posting screen even when I haven't previously entered it there at all during the session. This was never true for the password previously and only for the username under certain conditions (I think if I had immediately returned to the search page without any intervening navigation.) This would seem to be a security flaw and I'm wondering why it is happening? I don't know for sure if it is related to MOL or to my Windows/Browser install. I did download some Windows updates around the time this started, so that might have been a factor. My IE version is 6.0.2800.1106 if that means anything. |

Go to Edit profile and uncheck appropriate box ("Remember my username and password in a cookie"); but then you'll have to type it in each time you post. |

Along these lines.... Whenever I click on a thread, a window pops up asking me to "select a username to be entered on this form." I have only one username; the window lists it twice, and I'm to click on either iteration of it and click "okay," or just click "cancel." This didn't use to happen. How might I disappear this window from popping up all the time? Thanks in advance.... |

Sounds like an auto-completion setting in your browser. It's not a function of the message board's software. |
