I was not emotionally attached to Vidbel's Old Tyme Circus or whatever they were called, but I notice this year theres a new circus in town (or about to be in town). What happened to the First Family of Circus (OK, not the first family exactly)? Are they now in Big Train? |

Hank, Although I recognize the clown on the 4th of July website from last year, I think it is a different circus, because they pitched the tent in a different spot and have camels. How is that for logic? Ed May |

Ed, Good logic...I thought maybe it might have been the same circus under a different name (ownership change? running from the law?), but Vidbel's used to come in to town during the middle of the night it seemed the night before. Some of these guys have been here for days. Regardless, the kids will enjoy it, although we may never see the likes of Susan Vidbel again...a woman who can match the color of the sequins of her performing costume with her blue eye shadow. |
