Has anyone know anything about working with child modeling agencies or how to go about it without having to deal with gimmicks and garbage?

Check out the Ross Reports. Available in NYC or by subscription on-line. It will list all franchised agencies in the area and if they even handle children. Generally it is the accepted practice to send a snapshot of your child with a letter of inquiry to an agent and then follow up with a phone call. NEVER PAY UPFRONT FOR AN AGENTS SERVICE. If someone tells you there is a "fee" involved in representing you child, it is a scam. No exceptions. Agents are paid a commission based on the work they get you. Never in advance. Feel free to Private Line me with any further questions and I will be happy to help.
