The article in the NJ section of the New York Times this weekend about career counseling has me thinking that this might be a good gift for my husband. Has anyone used a good counselor in this area (or, I suppose, over the phone)? I would only want to do this with a strong personal recommendation. Thanks!

Margotsc -- I read the article as well, and I have one recommendation for a career coach: Martha Williams. Here's her website.

Also, I work in a similar field (although I'm not a certified coach) and would be happy to talk with you (gratis) to help you find the right type of coach and identify questions to ask prospective coaches during your search.

You can respond here, or you can private line me.
