Hi,
Where to go for a good pedicure in SOMA? I don't need a fancy 2 hour spa pedicure...just a place that's relatively clean and does a good job. Would be nice if you can make same day appointments too. Thanks!

Kim's of course! I've always just walked in -- unless it's Saturday morning, then I'd make an appointment. my toes

I'm looking for a good pedicure too, but Kim's doesn't really do it for me -- I always leave vaguely dissatisfied. Can anyone reccommend someplace more, I don't know, thorough?

Try Cheryl at Jaxx Studio on Millburn Ave., just down the block from Whole Foods and the CVS......973-467-8844...She's great!

I had a horrible pedicure experience at Kim's (a lot of blood was involved). I now go to Jane's in Millburn, right past the split of Millburn Avenue. Lovely, clean place and they do a good job.

Why not patronize the local nail parlors on Springfield Avenue?

I'm with you, deborahg. Nasty experience at Kim's and now I go to Jane's Nails. How about those massage chairs?

So is Jane's actually on Millburn Ave, or is it on that street that you're diverted onto when traveling west on Millburn Ave from Maplewood? And any specific feedback on why the pedicures there are so good? Ditto for Cheryl at Jaxx Studio, what is it you like best about her pedicures, Gibbsgirl?
