Any tips on a good place to get my hair colored and cut in the Maplewood area? I'd prefer a low key place that only does hair, not a full scale salon, and am hoping to spend $80-$100 including tips (which is what I got in Westchester before we moved!) Thanks. |

Ask for Alan at the Hair Chalet. He is the owner and has extensive background. Very, very good. He also works as a consultant to many other salons! |

Rosanne at Salon d'Or in Millburn. Don't have her number off hand, but the salon is in the book. Have never had anything but a superb cut/color from her. |

I second the recommendation for Alan at Hair Chalet.A true professional..973 763-2272. The salon is located next to Maplecrest Park with easy parking right there. The price for cut/color is within your budget too. |
