Any opinions, recommendations, or other comments about life in Milford, PA? We looked at buying a weekend house there a few years ago (which did not happen thanks to the economy)and now we're thinking about maybe moving there permenantly. That is, if we can organize our working schedules to accomodate 2 days a week at home . . .

I used to live in that area a few years ago. What do you want to know? And are you looking in Milford itself or one of the nearby towns? Dingmans Ferry isn't quite as nice, IMHO.

You'll have to travel about half an hour for cultural stuff (aside from antiques) and any shopping beyond Walmart. The local movie theater is an aged one-screen joint. On the other hand, when the mountain laurel blooms in June, Route 6 is gorgeous.
I can recommend a great veterinarian if you need one.
