It's not too cloudy to see the shadow of the lower Manhattan skyline off in the distance.

Silver car, black driveway, basketball net, green bushes, garbage cans...oh, and there's my neighbor at her sink, I wonder what's for dinner.

Lot's of rain. It's still coming down pretty hard.

Trees which have grown so tall and full that we can no longer watch the annual fireworks through our upstairs windows.

Large white-capped mushrooms forming on the lawn.

Neighbors' orange flowers peeking through lush green folliage.

All in all, it looks a lot more like spring than summer.

The 8 story hole, where the Twin Towers once stood.

The train tracks and station are well on the way to being done. Looks like foundation work for a large building is in progress.

Seen this morning between the rain drops:

My neighbor's automatic lawn spinkler system going full blast.

Seen this afternoon through the thick wall of rain showers:

The Courter Avenue river flooding its banks as it flows from north to south (Courter Avenue itself is an east/wet road) and an SUV driving by just narrowly passing above the water line.

Several palm trees, a small swampy "lake," some egrets and a bunch of ranch houses. Huge fluffy clouds, turning pink at the edges.

Greetings from north Florida!

Window? What window??!! Haven't had a window at work for 8 years now, in two different buildings! Makes the lovely green of MW all that much more crucial for my mental health!
