As part of an estate liquidation, I have to sell an almost new BMW 330xi. Any suggestions as to the best place to advertise. I have posted on autotrader.com, but have not received all that many responses

eBay

Make sure you set a reserve price that you are comfortable with.

I have sold a couple of antique vehicles in the past without a problem.

They also offer a "trading assistants" program. For a commission, you can have someone local deal with listing the vehicle (photos, ad creation, buyer contact, etc.). I have never used one for listing items, but it sounds like a neat idea.

The link for trading assistants is here:

Good Luck.

If you haven't already, you might also want to list it here on MaplewoodOnline in the classifieds.

Try www.bimmer.org. Click on BMW Central, and then you'll see a link explaining how to list the car for free.

You might try ebay. I sold my wife's car there. I got well over blue book value. But my situation was very different than yours. It was a wrecked old car, not worthy of registration without getting a lot of body work done. The winner of the auction planned to race it, and he didn't need to get it street-legal. Then again, I had an astonishing number of bids on the car.
