I've planned a trip to Cooperstown with some friends who are coming from California next week. However, I've come across messages on several travel message boards expressing disappointment about how little of the HoF was accessible due to renovations. Apparently the entire 3rd floor and part of the 2nd are closed this summer. I've never been there so I don't know what exhibits will be closed. Given this fact, is it still worth the trip or should we wait 'till next year? |

Depends on how into baseball history you are. If you're nuts about baseball history , then definitely wait until next year. You're going to miss the baseball card collection (3rd floor) along with the women's exhibit, the baseball/ bat and glove evolution exhibits, stadium replicas, and LOTS of rarities. The first floor contains all of the plaques, the broadcasters wing, and some key exhibits on baseball today. Caution: DO NOT GO DURING HALL OF FAME WEEKEND. It's a zoo! ---> Brought to you by Sbenois Engineering LLC <----
