I have a leased company vehicle that was recently stolen and recovered. They could not renew the registration and told me I had to bring the plates in for replacements. Anyone else have to go through this and is this correct? I don't want to spend another day at the DMV if I don't have to.

I had my car stolen in Montclair about 6 months ago. I never had to renew anything. Unless I'm driving arround in an unregistered car.
