"S" I thought Nohero said he was listing only those who may be addicted to MOL, not those in full control of themselves like you? |

Are you folks telling me that by registering here, I've essentially taken my first hit of virtual crack? Should I quit before I start jonesing? |

How to know if you are a message board addict: Do you hide laptops throughout the house just for posting? Do you have to make just one more post before bed? Do you have to start your day with a post? Do you post alone? Do you post more than 2 posts a day? Have you ever posted while driving? Is there a history of posting in your family? Have you ever tried to stop posting? Are you still reading this thread?

Yossarian, I can say yes to several of those questions. I'm too embarrassed to say which ones. At the moment, I'm sitting on my porch with my laptop, waiting for trick or treaters. How's that for message board addiction? Tom Reingold There is nothing

Sorry Art, no offense to your pancakes, I've read that they're great, but I'm a Bacon and eggs over easy (light), white toast with butter, home fries and BLACK coffee man. (I really have no idea what you look like, but in my dream you had a bald Carl Reiner type head) I'll try not to do it again. This cult thing is starting to affect my well being |

Lemme let you in on a secret about Art's "famous" pancakes. THEY ARE MADE FROM STORE-BOUGHT BOXES OF PANCAKE MIX!! Not from scratch. There is absolutely nothing extraordinary about his store-bought batter. Dytunck ****** ***** **** *** ** * |

No, Art isn't bald. He has more hair than I had at age 25. Man, does he have hair! Whatever his pancakes are made of, they taste good. People don't eat pancakes for nutrition anyway. I make pancakes from scratch, and they don't taste good. Why do I keep doing it? I'm trying to figure out how to do it. If anyone has a good recipe, I'd like it. Or maybe I should give up and use Art's store-bought brand. They taste good.

Thanks Tom, my pancakes are made from a special recipe with an added secret family ingredient. FWIW, there have been literally thousands of guests who have enjoyed them over the years. I highly doubt Dytunck was ever one of them... Vor, I hair you loud and clear, and no offense taken. Bacon and eggs over easy, with white toast, no problem. BTW, I also had a dream Thursday night that I was Carl Reiner... pleasant dreams. |

I must admit that perhaps I, too, am becoming an addict. I find myself waking up in the morning, grabbing my coffee, and right after I check my e-mail, I go to MOL. It's better reading than the local paper here. |

Art: Your mention of not posting while driving reminded me of all the voice recognition software out there. Does anyone know if such software would work for posting to MOL? Not, that I would personally want to try it. |
