The Newstead Neighborhood Association and some local businesses are sponsoring a 5k run and a 2 mile walk in the Newstead section of South Orange on Sept. 13th. The race/walk begins and ends at the South Mountain Annex (on Glenview Drive) at 9 am. Pre registration is 8 - 8:45. Registration fee is $8 before Sept 8th and after that (and on race day)it is $10. What is the entry fee for? What is the course?

The course is all in Newstead Starting at South Mountain Annex going Glenview towards North Newstead, running down Crestwood, Northwoods, Great Hills back down Glenview to Duffield, Crest, Hoskier then back to the Annex. All racers and walkers will get a Tshirt with proceeds to go back to the Newstead Association earmarked for a new local playground.

Who is liable if one of the runners were to fall into one of the massive potholes in and around South Newstead?
