On South Orange Ave., between Grove Park and Cluck-U Chicken, there is a tilted light pole that is being held upright with a rope! It's been like this for at least a couple of weeks. A few feet away, there is a downed pole (just the wooden part) laying along the sidewalk (on the grass), with long metal nails sticking out of it. It's been there all summer. In addition, earlier this summer, some sort of utility project was going on along this part of SO Ave. The red cones remain along the Avenue, with no sign of work happening. I'm not sure if it was a lighting project or what.
This is a busy area, with lots of kids going to and from the park, and people walking to Seton Hall.
Who can I contact? Is this a town or county (since it's SO Ave.) thing?
Thanks...

There was some illegal dumping done recently in my neighborhood. I emailed our town administrator John Gross about it and it was cleaned up a few days later.

The problem you mentioned sounds a bit more complicated because its a county road and it involves PSE&G but I would start with John.

His email is available on the Village website.

I am pretty sure Mr. Gross is aware and we are waiting for PSE & G, but I will ask the village engineer to follow-up since Mr. Gross is on vacation this week.

Thanks, Mr. Rosner. I'll follow up with Mr. Gross next week. Happy Labor Day, all!
