(I'm sure there have been tons of messages on this topic that I could find if searching were available, so I apologize!) Looking for a good OB! Please help. |

I highly recommend Dr. Vivian Lo. She is in the same practice as Dr. Joanne Somers. They have been recommended by several people on MOL. Their office is just past St. Barnabas in Livingston. The telephone number is (973) 533-0638. |

jab-- I used to go to Somers years ago and left because the wait was unbearable. My new doctor dropped my insurance, and I want to go back; but am concerned about the wait. How is it now? |

I saw Dr. Lo last week and there was no wait at all. There was only one person in the waiting room when I arrived and a nurse called her before I even sat down. No wait the time before either. Were there three doctors in the practice when you saw Dr. Somers? If not, maybe the addition of doctors explains the difference in our experiences. |

There was Dr K and they had added a third Dr, I can't remember her name for the life of me. They had way too many patients at the time. I would wait a minimum of an hour when I went. Being pregnant and going once a month was unbearable, so I switched Drs. Shortly after Dr Somers and Dr K divided the practice. It is good to hear they have got it back together. I have my appt in a couple of weeks with Dr Lo, thanks for the info. |

AnneMarie Campbell in Millburn, literally on the other side of Whole Foods. Very good, very thorough, excellent bedside manner, great in a real crisis. But, plan some reading for the waiting room. Her partner is Jackie Dix whom I've heard others speak well of. Cathy |

I went to Tammy Hamilton in Livingston this summer, based on MOL recommendations, and was very happy with her manner and the efficiency of the office. Only one visit so far, but I definitely plan to return. |
