What burglar-alarm company do you use and are you satisfied with their pricing, performance etc? Thanks

Tri-State Alarm ... installation went smoothly, not a ton of $ ... monthly service is good ... a couple of hicups, but overall recommend them

I just switched fromn ADT to Ultimate -- 973-535-0515 (I think) they are out of Livingston and came highly recommended. I hardwired my smoke detectors with them as well.

Algebra, when you switch companies, do you have to remove the current equipment and install new equipment? I am also thinking of getting rid of ADT and getting Ultimate.

they reused some of the equipment and had to install some of their own. Just switching the burglar portion of the system ran me about $400. The monthly/quartly charge for monitoring is a little lower than ADT. I must say when I set off my alarm mistake they call in about 15 seconds and are very nice.

I use Sloman's. They've been fine and the basic system is free (you have to commit to a 5 year contract).

A second nod for Slomins. there response time is very quick, the monthly monitoring is reasonable and there service department is good if you need repairs.
