Hi everyone, Pirates in the Park, rained out twice last week, is rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 5 to 8pm in Spiotta Park. This is the first joint effort between Main Street, The Chamber and Seton Hall. We'll have 3 bands (not all at once!), restaurants offering their dishes, and some local businesses will be out as well. If you need more information, please call (973) 763-6899. Thank you. Had an enjoyable time at this event. Did anyone here attended this last night? In my opinion, it was better than "A Taste of South Orange". There were more people, food vendors, free pizza, ice cream samples and live music. It was nice to see the Mazar Kabob house, Cold Stone Creamery, and Caribbean Cuisine there as vendors. Other vendors that I remembered seeing at "a taste" were there also: The Dancing Goat It's a Wrap Hunan Garden Cafe Arugula Neelam Yanicks Neicy's (I think) In addition, there were about local 3 banks there, Seton Hall, Main Street, Gallery 61, and a few other vendors. Thumbs up to the organizers and vendors in attendance!

Thanks Kevin! I'm glad you enjoyed the event. We're really hoping to build on it for next year and get more SHU students down. Thanks again. Todd |
