Has anyone heard anything about Tutor Time...The child care center on South Orange Ave. in Livingston. Any info or personal stories would be appreciated. We're thinking of sending my 20 month old daughter there. It looks nice but when I did a search online, came up with a lot of negative information.
Thanks!

We have our 26 month old daughter there and she loves it. For the most part, they're very good with the kids. They keep the kids active, which I personally like. Lot's of outdoor time during the warmer months, and indoor activites in the winter.

They have computers in the classrooms starting at age 2 or so.

I guess it's a question of what you're interested in. it's a secure facility - you need a card to get in and out, and you need to electronically sign your child in and out. You get a daily sheet explaining what the kids did that day, usually with one or two personalized things for your child. I personally like that they put every "teacher"'s credentials on the wall, so you can easily see the backgrounds of the people caring for your child.

I'd recommend going in and talking to the director, Danielle. Bob and Stephanie, the owners, are probably not around much for the next week or two, since she's due to give birth any day now.

if you have specific questions or concerns, I'd be happy to answer what I can.

Disclaimer: I have no direct financial relationship with them, but my wife does have a display in their lobby for her baby store (no, she doesn't sell babies ;-), and she sends them quite a few potential customers.
