Need the name of an endocrinologist, preferably on Oxford, but not mandatory. Called the one referred to me by my PCP and was told her earliest available appt was in March! If the referral was for me, I probably would be writing this post in Soapbox and expounding on the insanity of that phone call. However, it is for my daughter, so if anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks |

I see Robert Melfi in Livingston. He came highly recommended, I've been seeing him for 2+ years and can't say enough good things about him and his staff. He is not on Oxford, but his office visits are fairly reasonable ($65, I think) considering the amount I work with him and his nurse to monitor my issues from home. He used to be part of a big practice at St. Barnabas affiliated with the Joslin center for diabetes in Boston, but they split up. And I know he handles other issues in addition to diabetes. I don't have his number right here with me, but its in the book and his office is on Pleasant Valley Way. |

I think mine is the greatest - Dr.Garbowit. He is at the St. Barnabus Endocrine and Diabetes - (973) 322-7200. I went to a slew of them in NY and none knew what was wrong. Dr. Garbowit spends time with you and really helps! |
