Fully loaded dumptrucks heading for the quarry have started barreling down Mayhew Drive. Appears they are turning off Wyoming, making a sharp turn onto Redmond and then a sharp turn onto Mayhew. Isn't there a required path for these trucks keeping them on a big street like Wyoming as long as possible? They are very dangerous on a narrow road like Mayhew and their speed I think is over the limit. One of the trucks made my entire house shake one morning. |

New, A couple of years ago, the Trustees spent alot of time discussing restrictions on trucks in residential neighborhood with regard to deliveries for Home Based Businesses. Perhaps similar restrictions can & should be put in place now? |

New, I have been informed that what you witnessed is illegal and the trucks are prohibited from our street. Should you see any in the future, either call the police or John Gross with the license plate number. |

Thanks. Interestingly enough, several days after I placed this chatroom comment, the trucks suddenly stopped running along Mayhew. |

Ahh...the power of MOL! Actually, there have still been some sporadic violations, but the number has been reduced. If you see additional infractions, be sure to email John Gross at jgross@southorange.org |
