We use Beth Nalitt on Milburn Ave. I think she takes Aetna. Not crazy about her partner, but Nalitt is very good.

We use Springfield Family Practice. Dr.s Samantha Pozner & Marnie Doubek are the best!

I second Springfield Family Practice! I love Dr. Pozner's relaxed style and how she takes time to talk to you about everything in your life. My husband likes Dr. Hugh Snyder in the same group. (Dr. Doubek is a friend of mine and I trust her compeltely, too!)

I switched from Dr. Frankel/Nalitt because I couldn't stand their cold demeanors and rush with handing you prescriptions but not giving a referral.

I highly recommend Eileen Klein at 90 Millburn Avenue (she's part of the Summit Medical Group). We were in search for an internist upon leaving Dr. Frankel/Nalitt - who were not only cold and abrasive, but couldn't be bothered answering any questions!! Dr. Klein is as good as it gets......warm, caring and extremelyy smart 973-763-3720.

My husband is also a big Dr. Klein fan. I have spoken with the people in her office and have found them extremely nice and helpful!

Beth Nalitt was very condescending and dismissive to my babysitter, who went there for a second opinion (the first doctor she saw recommended minor outpatient surgery). Dr. Nalitt "diagnosed" her with genital herpes -- which was NOT what she had -- and then accused her/her husband of infidelity. When my babysitter told her what the other doctor had diagnosed (some kind of lymph-node infection) and that she was there for a second opinion, Nalitt's response was "why do you need a second opinion? So you can get the answer you want?" When my babysitter offered to show her the lab results she brought with her, Nalitt waved it away and said she doesn't need to see any lab results.

I wouldn't recommend the Nalitt/Frankel practice to anyone either. I'm going to start looking elsewhere. She wouldn't come near me when I came in with an infected blister on my foot. Felt like I had the plague.

Beth Nalitt sounds horrible! I am so glad you all posted your thoughts so my family as well as others can know to STEER CLEAR of her and her practice! Thank you - I will look at the other recommendations, all of whom sound like great possibilities. Hopefully one of them takes our Aetna plan!

Ok - so I looked into the Springfield Family Practice...they are affiliated with Overlook Hospital my new Q is: what is this hospital like? I only have had experience with St Barnabas and it seems pretty great...thanks in advance for your insights!

I also recommend Dr. Eileen Klein! She's very low-key, friendly and lately has been incorporating many alternative medicine approaches to her practice. She doesn't push them on you but if you're interested in supplements or herbals, she's very knowledgeable. I've follwed her from Summit, to Florham Park and now, thank goodness, to Maplewood. She's only about 5 minutes away from my house. Definitely worth seeing.

I have been to Overlook twice. Once to have a baby, and they were wonderful, and once to the ER, and they were horrible.

I have been to Barnabas several times. Once to have a baby and they were wonderful, and several times to the ER, and they were wonderful.
