I'm currently in the process of moving to West Orange. I live too far from the jitney, and yes, I just filled out my waiting list application for the SO station. But in the meantime, where are the best options for non-residents to park (I am not a freeloader. I am willing to pay). Feeding the meter is cool with me. So is walking a few blocks. Arriving at the train station at 7 am isn't. I know some of you have very definite opinions about this topic, but I need to park near the station and would like to do it on the up and up, without inconveniencing any of the residents. If any of you could give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it. |

COrey, Check out the Shop Rite Parking thread here. While it's $5/day, it is convienient, however it's not long term once the developement starts, but we've been waiting for that for two years already, so it may serve your interest until a NJT spot opens up for you.

Corey, Are you too far to walk to a West Orange jitney stop (which I think is free)? It runs through the Gregory section of West Orange. South Orange has a jitney, but not in that area. I am not sure about which jitney you are too far from. Stop by the other thread if you want more information about the ShopRite lot.
