I booted up this morning and discovered that my IE Window had changed. I used to have two separate tool bars. The top one had the menu and also a number of tool buttons (print, home, refresh, etc.) The second one had the address locator area and possibly one or two other items, but the address area took up most of the width of the window. This happened to me once before and I was able to "drag" the bar down somehow. This time, nothing drags and I can't even find the address field. There is a button labeled Address out to the right of the menu, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Can anyone suggest what I need to do to get this back to normal?

I might need to add that when I shut down the computer last night, it behaved fairly strangely - images freezing on the screen, etc. and I may have had to power it off in the end. (Can't remember for sure now.)

Soemthing like this happened to me yesterday--I solved it (somehow) by selecting "View" (at the top of your IE screen) and checking off the toolbars I wanted to view. There is one called "Address Bar"--make sure that has a black checkmark next to it. Good Luck!

Well, I think I found the answer under the toolbars menu, everything was checked, including an option called "lock toolbars". When I unchecked that I seem to be able to move things around again with my mouse. I still don't have it all looking quite right, but I got my address field back along with most of the missing buttons.
