I know most of the Q's for day care posted here are for the kiddies, but my Pop has Alzheimer's and we are realizing we need to put him in a senior adult day care program for 1-2 days a week...any thoughts, experience, advice on where to begin? We are really looking for a top quality facility - willing to pay whatever it takes.... thanks in advance!

Liz,

You might try calling the Maplewood Senior Center for info.

Also, St Barnabas might be able to help.

My wife Marilyn knows many of the adult dare care facilities in the area from her www.trunktours.com business. Call 761-1774.

Get in touch with the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. They have meetings and support groups for caregivers. They may have suggestions for you.
