Ok, a city slicker like me made a fire last night(yes, I opened the flute) and realized too late that smoke was not going straight up the chimney. To make a long story short, I can smoke meat in my house for a while now. Anyone have a chimney cleaner they can recommend? |

if you find someone -- maybe they can give us a MOL group rate... i too -- lit a fire last night for the first time this season -- and most of the smoke came inside! funny -- last year i thought it all went straight up the chimney... (my 7 yo was amused, the cats, however, when the smoke alarms were all going off in concert, were not)... Pete

We have been very happy with Bob Harris of Top Hat & Tails; he has cleaned our chimneys and inspected the liners for three years. He is quick, clean, and efficient. He has never recommended any unncessary work. Call Ingrid at 973-761-1054 to set up an appointment. |

Ditto & many, many kudos to Bob at Top Hat. I think my whole neighborhood uses him. |
