more of a boy. This is a child who has everything. He's my boss' son and I've known him sine he was 9. He likes jokes -- I'm thinking about a joke book. He also likes cars and turkey shooting. Anyone have an 18 year old son who can give me some advice?

...the obvious one... cash! my nephews are always buying music or software or something from the sporting goods section.

also - depending on how well you know him -- a t-shirt (from a favorite band OR a funny one) would be good. (you can get the band ones from the band web sites)

good luck

Pete

(I have a 7yo son, but 3 teen+ nephews 20, 17, 15!)

How about an Amazon.com gift certificate? He can buy music, toys, videos and everything else under the sun there.

Try this link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/subst/gifts/gift-certificates/gc-details.html/ ref=g_gc_fam3/102-2812902-3428961

Good luck!

Well, if he truly loves comedy, you could go classically raunchy. How about a Lenny Bruce CD? If he reads, you could give him a biography of the original dirty comic. Or, Andy Kaufman. Those guys were geniuses.

Turkey shooting? He MUST be Str8!

Ha! I got him a Wild Game cook book -- because he likes to cook and have witnessed the mess in the kitchen after his attempts at roasting pheasant and Truley Tasteless Jokes Three. Hi dad went and got him a full hunting suit at Cabela's ... thanks for the advice!
