Anyone have a plumber or drain cleaning service they like to use??? It looks like one of the kids may have flushed something down toilet and I can't get it clear.

Corragio Brothers--they are the best for things like this--honest, fast, reasonable. Sorry I don't have their number on me, but they are in the book. |

Great, thanks. I also just found a sticker on the inside of the tank that says Weltman Plumbing was the last person to service the house, has anyone ever used them???

I'd use Corragio.
Use Weltman if you are ready to pay the big $$$$. |

a STRONG second for Corragio! Both brothers have pagers -- and unless they are smack in the middle of a job have called back promptly. And they're real "craftsman" -- usually when I have work at the house my Dad (retired) comes for the day. Dad is always impressed how neat and careful they are! (and while I didn't see "the mess" -- I'm impressed by the fact it all works and looks and works teriffic!)
Oh -- they're nice guys, too.
I know Master PLumber from Gateway posts here often -- but have no personal experience with his company.

I've had good luck w/both Corragio and Gateway, for different types of jobs. We had a clogged tub drain and Gateway sent a guy over, Gary -- all he does is clear drains. He's patient, friendly, and knows his stuff. |

NEVER will I call Weltman again. They employ scare tactics and over charge for minor fixes.
I use and heartily recommend the Fischetti Brothers. They are local guys and quick to respond and repair, not to mention being reasonable in the cost department. Their number is (973) 762-2759
