Can anyone recommend a hotel at (or near) Newark airport, to stay in the night before an early morning flight? This is for an aged (86 years) couple who have never been to NJ, much less EWR, and who hail from Abilene, TX. I'm looking for an intersection of price and navigabilaty: cheap enough that they won't have a heart attack when they get the bill, and close enough that they won't miss their plane. |

Have you tried doing a search on Expedia for hotels near Newark Airport? A room at the Newark Airport Hilton can be booked usually for less than $100. There is also a Mariott there, and a Holiday Inn.

The easiest is the Marriott which is right at the airport but I think it is probably close to $200. All the airport hotels have shuttles that will take them directly to their terminal. |
