Kindermusik run by Susan Leone is a great program that offers classes where you and your baby can participate together. It is a well established program in the area. You can contact her on 973-762-3730.

The Summit Area YMCA offers mommy and me swim classes. The registration for it is starting November 3. I have taken both my kids to there and they loved it.

South Mountain YMCA in Maplewood has swimming classes starting at 6 months. They also have some parent/child type classes.

There is also The Little Gym in Livingston (Rt 10, a bit of a hike) that has parent/child classes, my almost-3-year-old LOVES it, but it is pricy.

The Connection in Summit (theconnectiononline.org) offers a lot of classes.

You might also want to try Music Together (musictogetherwithKelly.com).

We've enjoyed both.

My kids both liked The Messy Artist in South Orange. I think they have programs for under-2's.

I can highly recommend "Stories in Motion". Follow the link on the main maplewoodonline page under "Sponsors I", "Classes/Instruction". We like the JCC in West Orange for swimming classes.
