Can anyone suggest a local company to clean (and perhaps service) rain gutters? I figure it's the right time of the year to do it. Thanks. |

I've have bad luck with Ned Stevens. I am sure you will hear about him. It just was not worth it to the point that we had a year discussion over a bill for work that was never ordered or done.
I solved the problem with self cleaning gutters, and the little attention needed I do my self.

Ned Stevens did a fine job for us, but their incessant telesales calls (you MUST be due for a gutter cleaning) are insane. They call several times a week and do not leave a message. I am going to request that DH find someone else to do it this year. |

Went golfing in SW Fla. , making right into a place called Calusa Pines , I asked the driver who's estate is that on the right, he said " guy by the name of Ned Stevens believe it or not he cleans gutters for a living". |

Mark Meise 973-228-4965. my husband has been using this company/person ever since he got tired and angry over his dealings with Ned Stevens.

Wasn't happy with Ned Stevens either. Also some billing issues. I don't use them anymore. |

We had the Leaf Filter system installed, and they're supposed to be debris free. When we did use Ned, they were nothing but trouble. They claimed they had come by to clean them, when they were still full of leaves. We ended up using Nick Kosh, who was exceptionally good.

Time To Clean (973)379-9270. Reasonable rates and very neat. They also do powerwashing and other services. |

We also had a problem with Ned Stevens. He was to clean our gutters one day. It rained, and they were NOT cleaned out, and he said they had come and cleaned them out on a rainy day, and wanted paid for their work.... There were pine needles and leaves still in the gutters.... |

We use Mark Meise also. We're on his list for twice a year at a set price each time. One phone call to remind us to pick a week (he'll usually recommend one) and that's it. R |
