I saw in the paper today that Fred Berry has died. USA Today referred to him as "TV's Rerun." So that got me thinking. Who else could be referred to as "TV's ..." ? It would have to be someone who is know for a singular role on the tube. Kim Fields comes to mind ("TV's Tootie"), as does Herve Villechaize ("TV's Tattoo") although he's already dead, and he was in Man With the Golden Gun and some other stuff, so he doesn't really count. |

"TV's Webster" is a good one. There's also "TV's Erkle." Both should make the list.

Jerry Mathers ("TV's Theodore 'Beaver' Cleaver"). Barbara Eden ("TV's Jeannie"). The entire Brady Bunch. Half of the California Gubernatorial Recall candidates. |

Gabe Kaplan ("Kotter") Henry Winkler (sorry Henry, but "the Fonz" is going to be in the headline for your obituary)

these are great. i think my favorite is TV's Doogie Howser. Perfect! I don't know about TV's Gopher, though. Isn't Fred Grandy a senator or congressman now? |

I think you might be right; senator status would disqualify him. same goes for TV's Cooter (wasn't that the name of the Duke Boys' mechanic)? but what about Bo and Luke Duke? I think Luke went on to an attempted music career, but can he really escape this heritage? |

Bo and Luke Duke are good, as is Radar, but with those you'd probably have to say "Bo and Luke Duke from TV's Dukes of Hazard," and "Radar from TV's MASH." |

it's not that there are other Bos and Lukes. I'm just not sure the show is remembered as well as some of the others mentioned. Then again, I suggested Erkle and I don't even know the name of the show that character was on. OK. The Dukes are in. BTW, what ever happened to Daisy? She was the reason I watched that show. |

Catherine Bach. I believe she was in info-mercials, or QVC. but, I'll have to ask my husband to know for sure. he has a peculiar knack for knowing well-endowed female stars' names and bios. |
