Any recommendations out there for a piano mover (upright piano) and a piano tuner? Thanks. |

Hey Dave.. theres this thing on MOL, a really neat feature, called "search" it actually lets you search through many thousands of threads for topics that might be of use to you. For example you would search something like "Piano Tuner" + Mover. Its really neat. The guys who run this site are really... uh oh.. wait a sec... nevermind

Bob Dowling (973) 586-3090 I used him, he came recommended by this board. The post, entitled "Piano Tuning?" was finished on June 23, 2003. I think I started it on June 5. It's still in the archives (as you know). There were some others recommended, but I was very pleased with Bob. As for a mover, you're on your own. I used my husband and three friends and a pick up. But then, we were given an old used practice piano, so I wasn't up for paying a lot to move it. |

I second the Bob Dowling recommendation for tuning. Nice guy, knowledgeable, fun to talk to as well. Reasonably priced. My piano teacher also uses him so I think that says something. We used Kunis for the move and were very satisfied. Cathy |
