I seem to be in urgent need of a periodontist, probably because I am utterly PHOBIC about dental work and have procrastinated far too long. Now I desperately need a tooth doc who can deal with both my gums and my emotional issues. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

We have used Dr. Howard Drew in Westfield. He is soooo nice! My kids had to have their phrenums snipped before braces went on. They were so relaxed with him, I was amazed. My husband had lots of oral/gum surgery plus implants with him, and was extremely satisfied. He called in the evening to see how they were, plus gave home phone number if we needed him. I think he has an office in Verona as well.

Just used Dr. Tracy Ginsburg in Warren for some gum work (grafting to repair receeding gums). She was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. I don't see the final results yet but she came highly recommended.

I use Dr. Rosenblatt in Millburn (next to CVS) and he is very nice, reasonably priced and quite good at resolving my myriad of gum problems.
