Turns out our lawyer spelled my husband's name wrong on the deed to our property which is causing all kinds of problems, and he has not yet responded to my calls asking him to change the name. I'm at the point where I want to hire another lawyer to deal with this!! I wish I could just go straight to the county but apparently I need to do this through him. Anyone had similar problems? Am I crazy to hire another lawyer? If not anyone know a good one? Right now I am willing to spend a couple of hundred bucks just to avoid the continued aggravation.

Thank you all--I actually ended up getting through to Mr. Kleppe and he handled the whole thing with a couple of phone calls to our bank, and wouldn't let me pay him! He restored my faith in the legal profession--well, at least made me realize that there are some good lawyers out there. What a relief. So bak I owe you big time! I said it before and I'll say it again--this board is the best!!
