I would like to know what the going rate is for a two-day-a-week nanny (9 to 5 on two days, so 16 hours), for a newborn and a 3-year-old. The older child would be in school from 9 to 1 one of those days. I work from home so I might ask her to do light housekeeping -- straightening up, kids' laundry -- while the baby naps and/or I am with my older child. Should I pay hourly or set a weekly salary? Thanks! |
