Funny story: I found out that my great-grandfather was in the Jewish Mafia in Ohio during Prohibition. He was a Rum Runner. WHen he met my great-grandmother, she made him settle down & give up his immoral ways. So, he & his brother opened a hardware store & went "legit".

My mom & I think a hardware store must have been a great cover for a basement still!

Just think - he could have instead moved to Canad and run rum from there - just like the Bronfmans. Then you'd be fabulously wealthy and too hoity-toity to talk to us
