Has anyone used any places nearby to get Scuba certified? I know there is a place in Millburn that lets you do the coursework & pool training here and you then do the Open water dives elsewhere. Does anyone have any experience with that shop (positive or negative) and/or can recommend another local shop? Thanks! |

There is also a place in East Hanover (near Home Depot) just off Rt 10 on Ridgedale Avenue -- I believe it's called "Lakeland"?? The owner is a guy I know -- Mike DeCharles -- he sounds like he knows what he's doing. |

I did my cert with Hoboken too. Good folks, but it's a hike from here. There is another dive shop in Madison and I think they do certs too. Chatham Watersports...973.966.8858 (near the movie theater and train station) |
