The high winds ripped off a large part of the eaves that overhang our roof yesterday. Looks like a good 7-10 foot chunk fell. There's (thankfully) no visible hole into the attic, but we want to repair it ASAP.

Can a roofer do the job, or do I need some other type of repairperson? Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Marian, you beat me to the punch.

A tree fell on our house yesterday, and though Scott's did the roofing just last year, I haven't heard back from them yet. I need to call someone to do these emergency repairs before rain hits.

Shh,

Yikes! That's horrible. Sorry to hear about your home injuries. I bet a lot of folks experienced damage from the winds yestereday and the local roofers must be swamped with calls today.
