Is it at the regular post office on Maplewood Avenue? I am waiting for a certain letter and heard that I might get it a day earlier (or even Saturday instead of Monday) by intercepting it at the post office.

I don't know.

For future reference, I hear that nine-digit zip codes can help speed mail. I usually give mine out. You can look up any address to get a nine-digit zip code at http://www.usps.com/zip4

Call the Maplewood post office and ask them. They should be able to tell you.

No need after all. The letter arrived from Trenton in just one day.

Mail sent from within NJ usually arrives in one day. Sometimes, even if it's sent late in the afternoon, I still get it the next day. I'm impressed.
