I have my eye on the Nikon Coolpix 3100, which gets great reviews (was recommended by Entertainment Weekly and Men's Journal). Supposedly it's very easy to use for nontechies like myself but is a 3.2 megapixel, which I guess is pretty good. I also want to get one of those miniprinter things that just prints out photos. For that, I am considering the HP PhotoSmart compact photo printer. Can anyone give me feedback on these things? There is a blizzard of info but it's hard to sort through it all. Can anyone also recommend alternatives? Don't want to spend more than $300 for the camera and $150 for the printer. Also, I need something that works well with a Mac. We have cannon color printer, we love it, it is a 6 ink tank photo printer. Prints are not cheap, we print only really good shots. If you are printing in bulk check out www.ofoto.com, they offer good quality, good prices and they are fast.   Michael K. Wish Santa would bring me a new Nikon Coolpix 5700, that's a 5.24 mega pixel.
