Hi, Squirrels are entering the minivan thru the pedal area (sorry to be so non-tech). The mechanic says no damage so far, but gross! Any suggestions for keeping them out? it's gonna be a long winter! Thanks, Marcia

I'd start by going back to the dealer and finding out why there is that much access.

I second that motion!~ Sounds like there is a partition missing. Those squirrels can do serious damage knawing at things....

I sustained quite a lot of costly and annoying damage last winter due to rodents getting into my minivan (in fact, I have since traded that minivan in for an SUV in part because of the damage). My Honda dealer was nice and let the warranty cover it, but technically this isn't a warranty issue. I suggest you get this taken care of immediately. Some of the damage I sustained could have been quite dangerous to drive around with but didn't seem that bad at first.

Perhaps you should stop keeping peanut butter (which masks the smell of beer, tequila, etc.) in your car.
