I have given up drinking wine, so I have decided to give all the wine in my cellar away on a first come/first serve basis. Here's a sample of some German and French wines I am doing away with: Château de Campuget 2000 Côstieres de Nïmes, Chateau Bonnet 2000 Bordeaux, Chateau La Roque 2001 Coteaux du Languedoc Pic Saint Loup Rosé, Domaine de Bordeneuve 2000 Merlot Vin de Pays d'Oc, Domaine de la Brune 2001 Coteaux du Languedoc, Domaine du Pouy 2000 Vin de Pays des Côtes des Gascogne, E. Guigal 2000 Côtes-du-Rhône, Le Pigeoulet en Provence 2000 Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, Louis Jadot 2001 Beaujolais-Villages, Louis Téte 2000 "Le Pot" Beaujolais Villages, Pierre Boniface 2000 Apremont Vin de Savoie, Allegrini 1999 Valpolicella Classico, Boccadigabbia 1999 Rosso Piceno, Botromagno 2001 Gravina, Càntele 1997 Salice Salentino Riserva, Codirosso 2000 Chianti, Di Majo Norante 2001 Terra Degli Osci Sangiovese, Falesco 2001 Vitiano Umbria, Francesco Boschis 1999 "Pianezzo" Dolcetto di Dogliani, Librandi 1999 Cirò Rosso Classico, Monte Antico 2000 Toscano, Placido 1999 Chianti, San Fabiano 1999 Chianti, Tiefenbrunner 2001 Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, Zenato 1999 Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Zenato 2001 Pinot Grigio delle Venezie. Cheers!

I have an idea, why not let Hank run a wine tasting with your selections and you can keep the profits? |

Mem, I have often read your posts, but have never really responded directly until now. What do you say I come over and we play spin the bottle...if it points to me I get to take that bottle home. If it doesn't...we spin again! TheVillagePub |

OK folks, sorry for causing a ruckus, but my family and friends were so concerned about my decision that they've done an intervention and I'm back on the booze. That means I'm keeping the wine. Spin the bottle sounds...fun? |

Wow. All of a sudden, your "friends" come out of the woodwork when you have Free Wine. Where were you guys when I was lost and alone and in the dark after making that ridiculous decision to quit drinking wine, huh? Where were you when I sat at dinner, watching my companions choose and taste various wines with each course, and I sat amongst them, yet alone in my cold and isolated void? Oh, but announce I'm giving my treasure away and looky here! Everyone and their mother is my bestest buddy. Thanks guys. Thanks. Hic.

An intervention, huh? Hmm. Maybe my 11 year old daughter, who walks your greyhound every weekday, would like a bottle of wine as a tip. Well, maybe not. Tom Reingold There is nothing
